Beginning with his work on stress/fear hormones and his textbook on “Psychological Emergencies of Childhood” (Kliman, G. 1968, Ed. by Leo Bellak MD, Grune and Stratton, NY), Dr. Kliman has established his pioneering status and expertise in the field of understanding, preventing and treating psychological damage to children.  Here is a list of publications which establish him as an expert who has never failed to pass a voir dire in the fields of child and adolescent psychiatry, trauma, long and short term treatment techniques for traumatized persons.
